Important Update: X has updated its monetization rules. In response, ReplyHunter is becoming proprietary freeware (No account. No subscription.) starting with Version 2.0! Read the full announcement →

ReplyHunter is going free.

Here's the honest reason why.

What happened

X just changed the rules of the game.

On August 8th, 2026, X announced the Original Content Rewards Program — a full replacement of the old Revenue Sharing program. The new program fundamentally changes what counts toward monetization eligibility.

"Have at least 500,000 Home Timeline impressions from verified users in the last 90 days — impressions on replies are excluded."

ReplyHunter was built on one core premise: helping you identify which posts were worth replying to, so your reply impressions could count toward monetization. With X explicitly excluding reply impressions from the new program, the strategy ReplyHunter was built for no longer applies in the same way.

Our response

The tool stays. The login screen is gone.

Rather than shut down entirely, we're keeping ReplyHunter running as proprietary freeware. No account. No activation code. No subscription. Starting with version 2.0, just install and go. The engagement scoring, competition signals, and reply timing features are all still there.

What this means for you

  • Your extension continues to work
  • Version 2.0 removes the login screen completely
  • All core features remain, for free

  • Your account on replyhunter.co will be retired
  • The account portal and activation keys are being wound down

By September 8, 2026, the new version (2.0) will be introduced and upgraded by the relevant stores (Chrome or Firefox). You don't need to do anything. Your existing extension keeps working. When version 2.0 is live on the store it will update automatically, and the login screen will simply be gone.

If you wish to manually delete your account and all associated data, you can do so by visiting My Account > Danger Zone > Delete My Account (deletion takes 14 days).

Otherwise, your account will be securely deleted on your behalf once version 2.0 is released.

I'm genuinely grateful for your support. Building ReplyHunter has been a great experience, and I hope the tool continues to be useful to you even as the platform shifts.
